A Plethora of Tommys
WHO: Tommy Shepherd (in multiple forms), OTA
WHERE: Around the Spheres
WHAT: AU-ified Tommy all around.
WHEN: Feb 1st-29th
WARNINGS: The one marked Tommy Lehnsherr has a Tommy that isn't exactly nice, and he may get insulting or even violent. Sorry.
NOTES: I'm happy to do a bit of wiggle with dates for Tommy's different forms. Generally I'm thinking he's probably himself on weekends for helping Speedy out and to let him interact with AU'd people, but I'm not picky. See the bottom for notes on what each AU is.]

Prince Thomas Magnus
First thought? He's been kidnapped by Atlanteans. Seriously, Gramps is going to be SO UPSET at him for this. Even Howlett can't track into the ocean, can't smell things. And who said that Atlantean wizards or whatever couldn't keep Mom and William from scrying where he was for a rescue? But the thing is, normally Namor would come to gloat before this, right? Damn, now he's getting weirded out.
So Thomas Magnus, prince of the Magnus line of Genosha, clad in the family military uniform-esque formal wear of the royals, finds himself wandering through the spheres. He doesn't bother going fast, because it might draw too much attention. But he definitely doesn't remember how he got here. Or where here is, other than under the ocean. Maybe the Inhumans took him? If so then he is SORTA related so maybe he can find Princess Crystal and get her to demand they let him go.
In the mean time, Thomas really has to get a bit less obvious, doesn't he? The prince, not even thinking, just grabs a hat off of a passer by and plops it down on his own head to cover his shock of white hair and liberates a coat left on a nearby bench and pulls that on too. Dammit, what is even going on here?
"William, if this is your fault, I'm going to hide ALL your comics and tell Agent Darkholme that you're sneaking out to buy them against Mother's instructions."
There's always a slim chance William has that invisibility thing down now and is sneaking around nearby.
Tommy Vision(MCU)
There are literally two possibilities here for what is going on. A: Some spell mom or Billy were working went TOTALLY wrong and has sent him to some random place or time or part of the multiversemore likely Billy than mom because Mom's been powerful FOREVER and doesn't seem likely to have done this, or he's been kidnapped. Kidnapped to get one of his Avenger parents to do something they don't want to do. The former? Sucks. The latter? The later is SUPER COOL!
Tommy grins as he considers it, darting here and there around the strange place he's found himself. There are stores and some sort of Moon festival, and people don't seem REALLY shocked by there being a super fast kid running around making a private sort of chaos. Either way, he knows someone will come and rescue him sooner or later. So really, Tommy isn't panicked at all. Instead he runs around, looking for familiar faces. Any Avenger would do.
And maybe, a bit later, he'll see a shock of familiar hair. And take off at maximum speedslowing down at the last second to sweep the woman up in his arms.
"Mom! You found me. Worst game of tag ever, by the way. I blame Billy."
Otherwise, after a few hours Tommy will definitely start to get impatient. There is ONLY SO MUCH meditation and calming behaviors his parents could teach him to handle a situation like this. So finally he reaches out and touches a person on their shoulder.
"Hey, sorry to bug you. My name's Tommy and I'm totally lost. Like, this REALLY isn't New York. Can you tell me where I am and how I'm supposed to get back to the states? My parents are gonna freak when they find out I'm missing. I'll be grounded for, like, EVER. They'll make me sit down with, like, Black Panther or Winter Soldier or Captain Marvel and have them give me one of those 'We're not Mad, we're Disappointed' looks. And it's not even my fault this time!"
Tommy Lehnsherr
They've dampened his powers. The older man, silver hair and a scar stretching from the bottom left corner of his mouth down to the hinge of his jaw sneers as he looks around this place. This trap. A new form of N-Zone? Who knows. What he can say is that this place is not where he was when he went to sleep last night. He had been in a safehouse in Bulgaria, waiting for the chance to finish his current plan against those frustrating New Avengers that his Soul-Twin was part of. Instead here he was, sitting on a bench and glaring at the path in front of him. His hands were raised, and he was trying to explode it. And there was NOTHING there. This place had stripped away his powers.
"Fucking racist flatscans," he curses as he lowers his hands. "Too afraid to face me at my power. I'll drag this place down around your damn EARS!"
Thomas Maximoff
This wasn't his bedroom. This wasn't his house. This wasn't a LOT of things that he knows. And the kid doesn't know what to do with that. He woke up in a strange bed with a strange guy and immediately snuck out. Stranger danger was very real. And now the little boy was out in the hall between the Spheres, looking very nervous. No, not just nervous. Scared.
Later, after someone has explained everything to him, the boy, not quite eight and living with a shock of white hair that he's still getting used to seeing in reflections, starts to explore. The place is WAY TOO BIG with everything around here, but he definitely wanders anyway, asking people tons of annoying questions. And all while carrying a young sloth in two sweaters that is clinging either to his arm or his neck.
"Hi," he greets anyone he sees. "I'm Tommy. Mom says I'm not supposed to talk to strangers. So if you tell me who you are, you're not a stranger, And then I can ask where I can maybe find lunch?"

For Tommy Lehnsherr
He's trying to get used to his surroundings when he spots a guy sitting on a bench, looking as angry as one can be, muttering swear words and protests under his breath.
"Hehe... What's wrong, friend? Not adapting well to your new home?"
no subject
"I'm not your friend, boy. And I'm annoyed that I can't explode anything."
no subject
"I guess now you are just like one of us regular folks! I hope you soon learn to enjoy your new mediocre life!" He chuckles. There's nothing better than to see people who were once on top struggling to deal with their fall.
no subject
The thing is, well, Thomas Lehnsherr has been a speedster far longer than Tommy Shepherd was. He wasn't limited by the paltry speeds his younger self could manage. And he definitely isn't bound by silly things like concern for civilians or humans. He moves faster than a thought. Or at least the sorts of thoughts Haga can have. One moment he's sitting on a bench, highly annoyed at the world. The next he's behind the boy, leaning down to whisper in his ear.
"Careful kid. Being stripped of my hyperkinetic molecular manipulation doesn't mean I'm 'regular folks'. There is nothing mediocre about me. And little bugs like you should be really careful when talking to your betters."
no subject
Instead, his smirk is back on his lips.
"Look at you, using your big words." He turns on his heels, looking right into Tommy's eyes. "You think I'm scared of you just because you are quick on your feet? Oh no, the big bad man is gonna run me to death!" Another grating laugh comes from Haga. "Give me a break!" He places a finger on Tommy's chest.
"You don't scare me."
no subject
"Maybe you should be scared, little flatscan."
no subject
Still, he tries to bluff.
"So that's what you gonna do? Threaten me? Guess it's easy when the other person is half your size, hm?" Haga boldly gives a step forward, eyes narrowing at the man standing in front of him. "You showing off to someone like me proves nothing. Wow, you are threatening to beat up a kid, how impressive of you!" The sarcasm is clear in his voice.
no subject
With that he moves closer, glaring down a the kid. "Run, child."
Haga are you STUPID????
"And what if I don't?" Haga stays put, fists clenching, eyes narrow as he stares at the other's face.
Clearly yes
Tommy Lehnsherr
The man she found instead wasn't quite what she expected. There's no doubt that the older man is either Tommy or someone who looks exactly like an older version of Tommy might. A rougher version of the Tommy that's definitely seen some shit. She tucks her hands into the pocket of her leather studded jacket as she approaches him with an arched eyebrow.
"Hey there, watch the language," she chides with a sardonic little smirk.
no subject
"What, you going to make me, Dane? Because I doubt you can."
He's very careful about no magnetic metals on himself.
no subject
"Lets not put that to the test," there's a terseness in her voice with the comment. The last thing she wants is some sort of fight with some version of her alternate universe nephew. That entire sentence is beyond weird. "What's gotten into you?"
no subject
no subject
"Flatscans?"
no subject
"Homo inferior," he answers. "Humans. The pathetic creatures who think they stand above us, and aren't fit to be trod upon."

"Tommy?" Her brow furrowed. "Are you alright?"
Her arms were around his neck as she hugged him and slowly regained her footing. Tommy's speed was impressive but she was accustomed to this kind of thing from her brother.
no subject
"Yeah. I mean, now that you're here. Like, seriously, what is this place? Yeah yeah, they told us why, but that doesn't make any sense. Did, I don't know, someone make like a teleporter and bring us here? I don't believe the story."
And he's definitely a bit uncomfortable, pulling away to frown at her.
"Like, this place is weird, Mom."
He says it so easily, like he has ALWAYS called her that.
no subject
"It is weird." She agreed with a soft smile. "I admit that I am not sure what this place is or what brought us here."
Her smile widened. "I'm just glad your safe. What do you remember last? Anything specific?" Maybe it'd give her a clue as to what was going on.
no subject
And so instead he smiles at her.
"Well, Billy was making dinner tonight, his turn. Chicken Paprikash, but your recipe. Not Dad's. And I was working on my E&M homework, hoping to get it finished so Dad could look it over and make sure I didn't fuck it up. Seriously, I'm glad you guys convinced us not to stay in the dorms, because it's nice to have him to look over stuff. Uh, Billy said something about you and the Avengers being out doing stuff? Like, there was some sort of robots, not like Ultron, in the city, and you guys were being helpful. I was gonna run to the bodega to get fresh rolls, but then there was this light and I was here and couldn't figure out why."
no subject
"I see. Then you were just brought here." Maybe it was a different Tommy? Another Universe, anther Wanda.
She really didn't know.
"I'm afraid to say that this place isn't that simple Tommy but we're together so it'll be okay." It almost hurt to say that, fearing that this wasn't the Tommy she'd come to know and love. It shouldn't matter. All Tommy's and Billy's are her children but the boy she knew here in the sphere was someone she shared a deeper connection with. She wondered if this was what Tommy felt when he first met her.
"We don't know who brought us here or the way home yet but we will." She smiled confidently at him. "I won't let anything happen to you."
no subject
But it is nice that she's here. That he doesn't have to worry about being alone. His mom would never let anything happen to him, at all.
"Where is here? I would rather go home, you know? Can we just go home? I've got homework, and we were taking Morgan to the movies tomorrow, you know?"
no subject
"This is called the Sphere. It's an underwater world that is on a different reality. I haven't been able to find a way out yet but I imagine your brother is working on it too." Assuming he knew that Tommy was gone. That was a detail that Wanda wasn't going to get into.
There were many ways to protect someone.
"I'm sorry. It will take some time. You'll have to be patent." She knew that it was hard for him to slow down in any sense.
no subject
"I... you KNOW I hate it when you and Dad tell me to be patient. It's not easy, right?"
