Coffee seems so normal, and yet they've done this before
Who; Aaron & Alex
What; Accepting a coffee invitation
Where; Alex and Richard's pod
When; Wednesday, 3.27, mid-day
Warnings; Discussion of sensative topics like gore, kidnapping (that's a possibility), death, the undead
Accepting the invitation for coffee from Alex wasn't difficult, though he knew even as he approached the pod she shared with Richard that he looked rather different than he did two days ago. His mind was still reeling slightly from the influx of memories, but like scattered leaves, they were starting to settle at least. At Eric's behest, he'd trimmed his beard at least, from the unruly monstrosity (his words) it had been to something shaped at least. It was a part of him at this point and parting with it was going to be difficult. He wore a casual long sleeve button down in dark blue, the left sleeve rolled up to accommodate the metal prosthetic he wore where his left forearm and hand used to be.
He took a deep breath, released it slowly, and gave her door a knock.

"She's safer behind our walls."

So, a different line of questioning then. "Did you remember anything from here when you were home?"

He shakes his head at her question.
"No, not at all. It was as though I'd never left."

However, given Simon's Simonness that wasn't really a surprise. He's never been good at explaining anything when it could be as cryptic as possible.
"I guess I knew that but had hoped it was different. Not really a big reason to keep trying to learn Sumerian or whatever, huh?" Which was a little disappointing in and of itself; Alex had been hoping that they'd be able to use the time they were spending here as a way of stopping what they'd set into motion back home.
