There might be other people here who have abilities close to his, or spells that might be useful with keeping things fresh. I can draw blood and store it but if we lose the ability to keep things fresh it wouldn't be helpful for our vampires. Blood cells degrade quickly. It's not a long term solution unless we ask people to act as donors to the vampires directly.
