Open Log - He’s a Busy Man
Who: Watts and whoever you throw at him
What: Open Starters! Variety of locations! Oooooh, shiny!
When: The month of April, vague dates from early to late month. It’s up to you when!
Warnings: None to start but I will update if it comes to it, which would only happen if someone gets him to talk about his world/himself. He’s from a murder mystery canon in the Edwardian era so there’s always the possibility of the discussion of murder cases and the sensitive topics around those coming up if your character asks or reminds him of something.
Notes: I’m also down for anything you might want, you can throw something my way if the starters don’t work for you. They’re more like general interaction opportunities! I can match with action brackets if you prefer!
Starters found in the comments!

"Aren't you bothered by how people see you? Or that people might judge you?" Haga asked, just a little curious to hear what this guy had to say on the matter. Adults are usually above caring about people's opinions.
"I really can't see how you can find so much to do in this place. I've been mostly bored ever since I got here." Save for the occasional strange happening and unusual memory share he got to see, there wasn't much to see or do in this place, at least not anything that would occupy most of his time.
Haga let out a small scoff at that last part, averting his gaze from the man rummaging through the papers. "Hmph, that's almost all I have going for me. So I might as well use it!" Even though recent happening in his life back home made him a lot less complainy, that didn't mean he wasn't going to still speak up when something bothered him.

“I presume it’s the same in most worlds, but appearances are very important where I come from. There’s um... so much that a person can be judged for that you learn to correct or hide what you have to, and then deal with the judgment on the things you can’t.” He gestures with a free hand as he talks, waving it around lightly. He had done a lot to make up for his short-comings over the years. To blend with society better and be better than was expected for someone who had started out where he had in life. To be his eras idea of ‘normal.’
“As for this uh— mess. I admit I am quite unused to sharing a space, and I don’t usually have company where I’m from.” He finally moved on, tackling another cluttered pile as he responded to the next question with a slightly distracted tone. “And I can find so much to do because I’ve made work for myself in a way. I opened a private investigation office, so I’ve been busy getting it set up and working on whatever small cases people bring me.” Nothing exciting, of course. Just small petty thefts or break-ins, little minor inconveniences and matters that people had no one else to ask for assistance with.
He raised a curious brow at Haga, that comment was definitely a tad self-deprecating in his opinion. Teenagers could be dramatic, yes, but no one said things like that without a reason. It seemed to him that no one said or did anything without reason. “Is that so? I find that hard to believe, most people have more talents or abilities than they think... Regardless of that, you’re right. You should speak up.” He pauses, head tilting thoughtfully, “Of course, you should also be prepared for the possibility that the person will disagree.”

He couldn't help but be a little jealous on how Llewellyn mentioned he learned how to dismiss his feelings when he was bothered. Haga's skin was certainly not as thick and angering him was far too easy when it came to how others saw him and talked about him.
"Look, I never shared a space either, unless you count living with my parents, but just because you are on your own that doesn't mean you can just be this... careless." Haga didn't know if that was the word he was looking for, but it was close enough. "More for yourself than the others really. That way you don't have to rummage through disorganized stuff trying to figure out where you put things." Haga felt that he was more or less parroting stuff his mother told him before, which he never thought he would, specially to a person way older than him.
Haga felt the urge to ask just what Llewellyn investigated anyway, but decided against it. It was none of his business after all.
And, as any teen, he was indeed way too dramatic about things that really didn't call for it, but he had a slight self-deprecating view of himself, specially as of late due to certain things that happened back in his homeworld.
"Pfft, you don't have to tell me twice people will disagree with me. That happens way more often than I would like it to." Sure, a lot of times he's on the wrong, but he's a little too proud to admit he isn't always right. The typical stubborn teenager behavior. "Can't wait to finally be an adult so people will stop dismissing what I say..." Another typical teenage line of thought.

The detective did finally speak up again once Haga expressed his eagerness to become an adult for very specific reason, “Oof...” Popped out, his face twisting into something rather complicated. Llewellyn only lied about very specific things, and he certainly wasn’t going to lie about that particular aspect of adulthood. “I’m afraid if that’s what has you excited about growing up, you’re going to be disappointed.”
Papers finally gathered up, and at least organized into an easily moved pile, he moves on to gathering up some of the random odds and ends that were left. “You’ll uh— find that regardless of age, people will always find a reason to dismiss what you say if they don't like or agree with it. At least in my experience.”
