Who: Alex Reagan and Richard Strand.
What: Surprise, your boyfriend died and didn't say anything. Oops.
When: Today, I think?
Where: Close to the domes where they live.
Warnings: Ghost log!
As she often is, Alex is out and about working her way through the market place and back to the domes where she and Richard live. She’s been thinking, because of course she has about what Seregil has said about not wanting to leave the ghost of Alec alone and she knows that she’d be the same way about it even if both Richards would argue that there wasn’t such things as ghosts, Alex. Maybe back home that might have been true but here? Here it definitely isn’t. The ghosts of the Sphere are all around them and honestly Alex is just grateful that she hadn’t run into herself as one.
There are definitely some things that are too weird even for Alex Reagan to be able to handle.
Another thing that she’s grateful for is the fact that nothing like that had happened to Richard. Honestly, she’s just as terrible at loss as he is, even if she’s never experienced it to such a degree has he has. Granted, very few people ever have lost like Richard Strand did, so much so that for a long time (until she’d wormed her way into his heart) and even then, here he’d lost her for a while. Later would think that she’d summoned him up, when she realizes after but for now, she just sees a slightly rumpled Richard walking towards her.
Shifting her bag and her coffee, Alex just speeds up towards him, and her voice is quiet. “Hey. Are you okay?”

It was Alex that pushed him out of his confusion. Alex was a clear and rememberable thing. She was tangible. She was talking. It took him a few moments to register her before he responded. "What day is it?"

"It's Wednesday." The words come softly and but with more than a little bit of a sense of unease. "November 27th." A pause and then she asks, reaching out to touch his cheek. "What's going on, Richard?"

"You... You're a ghost. What happened?!"
