On where other hand, her magic and their lives had changed those bits of soul enough to temporarily destroy Mephisto. So at least they served some purpose.”
And people forgot about the twins. Doctor Doom later used her grief and loss and the Avengers’ roll in things to turn her against them and... fuck, a lot spun out from that.
