Enis was no longer in control of her actions and the program fueling her precise attacks had no desire to save the woman who had been pulled into the water behind her. Enis screamed in furry, trapped within her own mind as her body continued to fight for its survival.

Her hand shot out, fingers curling around the siren's arm to pull it out of the water far enough to slide the gleaming silver of her blade across its throat. Thick plasma coated her knife as she sought another of the creatures and another. Without the use of a wider network, there was very little that her sensors could detect on their own.

Her blood red eyes turned to look up at Mera as her voice called above the echoes of the turning water. "How many are there?" Even if Mera had no way to tell, she was at a further vantage point that could see yards around their current position.
