"I'm not used to following the things I find interesting. I know... that probably sounds odd but where I'm from, wanting is different. Everyone wants what their supposed to want and nothing more than that. So I'm learning... how to want." It was a work in progress but so far she'd been getting better at it.

"That's why I want to know what you want... to help me learn."

It didn't seem like Simon wanted all that much and she couldn't help but wonder why that was. She was fairly sure that he was from Earth like Alex and human's could want. Their desires and choices are what make them human.

It's an amazing ability but Simon seems to be stuck where he is.
