In his own world, Necromancy is, quite honestly, very difficult and, as such, isn't commonly practice by even accomplished mages. It was for that reason, in particular, Dorian originally turned his studies to the school. And then he'd learned he was very good at it.

He isn't so narrow-minded as to assume Necromancy is common across worlds, of course, but he does smirk confidently, bordering on arrogance.

"My dear, if you feel necromancy is useless here you are, quite simply, doing it wrong."
