Ivar waits with the instinctual patience of a predator to back him up. He doesn't move a muscle, instead watching Jack with eyes, nose, and ears to guide him. Ivar watches as Jack starts to cautiously look for him. He doesn't move an inch, acutely aware of the fact that any movement could give him away.

This a game of almost literal cat and mouse. He intends to be the one that comes out on top.

The muscles tense as he waits, claws and hooves digging into the soft earth beneath his paws. He listens as the man draws nearer. Closer...closer...there. The alien springs out of the bushes with a gigantic leap far greater then any a normal Earth big cat could produce, intent on pouncing on Jack.
