Jack lets out a cry of pain as the claws slash through his skin, and another yelp as he's knocked into the air. He hits a nearby tree hard with his back, and lays stunned on the ground for a few moments before pushing himself unsteadily to his feet. His shoulder is pulsing with pain where he was scratched, but with a bit of willpower he manages to ignore it.

He can treat himself later, he needs to end this fight before it gets more out of hand. He rummages in his sweater for a moment before dragging out a tommy gun, loaded with armor-piercing bullets. He sends out another shock of electricity before opening fire with his gun and surprisingly, his injuries seem to have little bearing on his aim. Focusing this hard on combat, he barely even notices the weeping wounds.
