"Nice to meet you, Stan." Aaron doesn't make any assumptions about his childhood being less than typical. Being subjected to conversion therapy when most kids his age were awkwardly talking to potential significant others and wondering what to do with the weird smells they were starting to produce and why they were growing hair in weird places sort of put that into perspective. Still, there was something familiar in Stan he couldn't quite put his finger on. A sense of isolation, maybe?
