"We shall see." Sansa certainly seems to have more faith in this situation than he does, even after everything she's been through. He wishes he could expect that at some point, things would start going their way again. Is it dying that took that away from him? Or the unending need to convince potential allies of the threat from the north?

It would be nice if the Sphere were to show them some mercy, and he hopes that it does, but he has prepared for what happens if it doesn't. Ghost has stayed behind, with orders to protect the others who stayed behind if necessary. The ever-present knife is at his belt, as is Longclaw, which has been present since the domes started disappearing. He's also wearing the armor he'd been wearing when he arrived here; Sansa doesn't have any, and if he's going to make sure she's protected, he'll do it as an official member of the Queensguard would.
