( To his credit, Eddie only worries a normal amount when Richie's hands briefly fall away. He doesn't spiral, doesn't panic. He just sort of frowns a little, and it smooths away the moment they're back. This is already so incredibly different from where they were just a few weeks ago – hell, a few hours ago – that it's easy to feel confident.
He doesn't expect it to last, but while its here Eddie feels invincible.
The suggestion of a Voice doesn't even throw him off – it's not a choice Richie makes, any more than the wheezing of Eddie's chest and he gets that.
