Who: Jon and Ghost and you
What: Residence domes and then anywhere
When: April 21 through the end of the month
Warnings: Probably none, but I'll add them if they come up
Notes: There's one closed starter and an open one
[For Inesa]
It starts out like any other morning here, the slow rise to consciousness after a night of troubled sleep, then the wet nose on his cheek and the warm...fur...that is definitely not right. Jon opens his eyes and is greeted with a face full of very familiar snout and ears and eyes. "Ghost!" he exclaims before sitting up to give the wolf a hug around the neck. He'd seen Ghost before he left Winterfell for Dragonstone, but he's still pleased to see the animal here. He likes knowing Ghost is safe.
Half an hour later, he's ready for the day and standing outside Inesa's door. He left Ghost a short distance away, so he can't be seen when the door is opened, but close enough come when called. There's an introduction to make.
He knocks lightly. "Inesa?"
[Open to all]
His visit made, Jon heads about his normal day, only this time, everywhere he does, he's accompanied by a white direwolf with red eyes. There's no need to fear; the wolf is well-trained and doesn't stray far from Jon's side.
Practicing with his sword, wandering through the market, Ghost is there with Jon in both of these places. Jon even adds in a few places he visits less often, gardens, the other rec domes, as though he's giving the wolf a tour of their new home. Which he is.
And of course Jon will be sure to take Ghost around to see Sansa, too.

"Is that a wolf...?"

"Ghost! Hullo, you good boy!" Jon can wait. It's time to give Ghost some good boy scritches.

That said, it does absolutely nothing to stop him from staring the moment he lays eyes on Ghost. He doesn't mean to, it's just that he's a curious (
nosy) kid at the best of times, let alone when he sees a giant wolf thing just ambling about the markets like that's a normal thing for a giant wolf to do.He doesn't mean to approach either, but that's what ends up happening. It isn't until he's there and kind of hovering one hand out as though he's seriously holding back the urge to pet that he realises he hasn't come up with anything to say, and finally Eddie manages to look away from the wolf and direct his attention to the owner, instead.
"Sorry, uh— do you have a pet wolf?"
An obvious question, yes, but cut him some slack. The guy's never seen a direwolf before.

"He showed up this morning."

As far as Eddie is concerned a direwolf is about as believable as something really crazy, like a dragon. But this place is weird as hell and he's seeing all sorts of stuff, so he's happy enough to roll with it. Besides, more importantly, it's really cool.
He squints at the wolf again, leans a little closer before grinning, and his next question technically is directed at the other man, though he doesn't stop looking at Ghost as he asks, "If he's smart does he still like people patting him?"

After her walk she returned back to her home and spent the morning creating little lunches for work and feeding Lancelot. The little bunny had a seat on the table and was munching on a leaf of lettuce when she heard a knock at the door.
Without meaning too, she smiled when she heard Jon calling her name.
She subdued a bit of her smile and opened the door. "Good morning Jon. Would you like to come in?"

And about those dragons...
"He still likes being petted."
no subject
"Only if he can come in too." He gives a short whistle and Ghost comes padding around the corner, then stands next to Jon and looks expectantly up at Inesa.

"He?" She looked around and her eyes widened when the large white wolf came padding forward. "Oh Jon. He's beautiful."
Inesa dropped to her knees and held out a hand to Ghost. "It's nice to meet you. I am Inesa."

"He's a direwolf. Larger and more intelligent than regular wolves. The direwolf is the sigil of House Stark."

"Did you! Oh, you good boy!" She's scritching and petting the large wolf, even allowing him to lick at her face when he decides he remembers her enough.
"Goodness- he's so big. I always forget."

She paused and then looked thoughtfully at the open door behind her.
"If you promise not to eat him, I can introduce Lancelot to you Ghost. He's a bunny and one of my good friends. If you are hungry I have treats. I have another wolf who stops by sometimes and I always keep them on hand." She looked up at Jon and felt herself blush a little. "If that's alright with you Jon. I have some tea as well. I was just putting some muffins in the oven."

"One day we'll have you over for tea and treats."

Ghost, meanwhile, is loving this attention.

Lancelot was sitting on the kitchen table and has frozen in place when he smelled the wolf, his little nose wiggling nervously. He'd met one other wolf and it had looked like it intended to eat him.
"This is Lancelot. Lancelot, this is Ghost. Hopefully he'll be able to keep you safe when you wander off." She pet the bunny and then moved over to stand closer to Jon and give him a quick kiss on the cheek.

He leaves Sansa and Ghost to their reunion. It was why he'd brought Ghost here.

"We were out with Father, tending to some business." The boys and Theon, anyway, because this had not been business for women. "We found a litter of direwolf pups who had lost their mother. Six of them, one for each of us." Except Theon, not a Stark. "Father agreed that we could keep them as long as we were responsible for training and raising them. Ghost was the runt." He's not a runt anymore, and he's one of only two of the litter left.

"It sounds like fate." She smiles down at Ghost. "He's very handsome." She looks back up at Jon. "He suits you." They were both very handsome with lovely thick hair. "I'm happy that he's here with you." Though this meant that she was going to keep more wolf friendly treats in her apartment for when he stopped by.
"Is he like a brother to you or do you take care of him Ghost?" She smiles at the wolf as he munches on the snacks.

Inesa looked up at Jon and smiled bashfully. "If that's alright with you... with both of you that is."

"For both of you." Wolf treats for Ghost and Jon treats for Jon.

Jon would like to know more about these Jon treats, please.
no subject
"Would you like a treat too?" Inesa looked over at Jon before sliding a warm cookie onto a napkin. She then walked over and placed a light kiss on his cheek before holding out the cookie for him.

"Still warm. That's when they're best."

"I also have milk or tea if you'd like."
