"Yeah, but it's not a bad thing. We all come from different places with new things," she tries to give some semblance of a comforting smile. Whether or not it's actually that comforting is up for date, but it's an attempt.

"Because we're different," there's definite bitterness in her tone that she doesn't make any attempt to hide. "We have abilities they don't have and that scares them. The worst comes out in people when they're afraid."
