Wanda didn't answer. She waited for him to step back and then forced the gathering bolt of red energy through her body. Red flickered out from her frame as the ghost was shot back and away from her. Wanda dropped to her hands and knees, breathing heavily before rising to her feet.

"Something was there. I didn't want to get you in the process." She turned but for the moment she didn't see the ghost or anything else that might have been leaching energy from her.

"What was that?"
