"The mortal..." She trails off midway through her answer to his question. The ghost shimmers in and out of visibility for an instant and then begins to fade away. Suddenly her eyes seem to sharpen in focus and she shakes her head as if she's clearing out cobwebs that had taken refuge in her mind. She blinks a few times and then looks around suddenly, trying to see where the ghost went.

"What...what the fuck was that?" her voice is still unstable, like she's just woken up from some long sleep. She runs an unsteady hand through her hair and looks over at Loki.

"That couldn't' have been him....'
