This certainly isn't Stan's idea of a good time but he'd been pulled into going all the same. He's kept to himself and as far away from the more rowdy people as he could. He doesn't recognize Strand when he comes near him.

Stan's too busy eating ice cream and looking through a book he'd recently found, though, it was some work of fiction that didn't seem to be holding much of his interest.
